Thanks for you reports. We try very hard to ensure the accuracy of the map.
The issue with using the speed limit reporter in the app is that it does not provide accurate enough information to us and makes it very difficult to change the speed limits based on that information alone. When I looked at the street view (which is dated in 2016) the speed limits were fairly accurate to what we had. I did make some adjustments to the speed limits but it would be much easier if you can assist with some boots on the ground information.
If you can somehow visualize (either detailed description or screenshots) for us exactly where the speed limits change and what they should be, we can try to get it more accurate for you.
I also recommend that if you are going to report speed limit issue via the app, just report it as a "general error" and make a comment something like "Eastbound SL begins 45""Westbound SL begins 35"
The "general errors" tend to drop closer to where you are actually reporting the issue at.
If is it safe enough and you have the time, it would be awesome if you could stop where the speed limit changes and make the report, that way there is less chance of vehicle motion causing the report to be dropped off a little to late.
I did make some changes to the speed limits based off the reports I found but as I was working them, they became harder to decide accuracy.
